How we make.
Every bag produced by FRAYDA is cut, assembled, finished, and quality-checked in our Florence atelier. Here is what happens between your approval and your delivery.
Cutting
Leather hides are inspected for imperfections and cut by hand, optimizing for grain direction and minimizing waste.
Preparation
Edges are skived, reinforcements applied, and components organized. Each piece is marked and matched to its partner.
Assembly
Pieces are stitched together with precision. Seam allowances, stitch density, and tension calibrated to each leather type.
Edge Finishing
Edges are hand-painted in multiple coats — sanded, sealed, and polished between each layer for a clean, durable finish.
Quality Control
Every bag is inspected point by point: stitching, hardware alignment, edge quality, lining, symmetry, and function.
Packaging & Dispatch
Bags are wrapped in tissue, placed in dust bags, boxed to your specifications, and shipped with full documentation.
