We source our leathers from tanneries in the Santa Croce sull'Arno district — the heart of Italian vegetable tanning for over eight centuries. Full-grain calf, vegetable-tanned, Saffiano, and suede, selected for each project. Hardware in brass, palladium, and antique gold, finished to your specification. Every edge painted by hand, every stitch placed with intention.

Our team has produced collections for established Italian leather-goods brands — managing cutting, preparation, assembly, edge finishing, and quality control for bags carried in boutiques across Europe, Asia, and North America. We disclose specific client relationships under NDA once a project conversation begins.

Every FRAYDA bag is designed, developed, and manufactured in Italy — in compliance with Article 16 of Italian Law 166/2009. Our atelier sits in Florence, at the center of a leather-goods district recognized as the first in Europe for luxury production, with over 2,300 active workshops and tanneries.
